We are a family owned and operated cow/calf production operation located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Northern Virginia. We run a small herd of Maine-Anjou, Shorthorn, Angus, and Simmental influenced cattle for the production of show calves for today's youth 4-H/FFA projects. Our goal is to produce good quality cattle that will perform not only in the show ring but also in your cattle operation to produce those high quality, sound, easy feeding cattle that are desired in the beef cattle industry today.

We also provide custom farming services. We provide no till drilling, hay making, and bushhogging services. Allison clips, fits, and halter brakes cattle. If you are needing someone to provide any of these services please contact either Rick or Allison.

Rick Sowers, the old man of the operation, is a forman for Pike Electric. He graduated from Warren County High School and has been married for 28 years now to his wife, Kate. They have 3 children together. Megan, Allison, and Ethan and three grandchildren, Emma, Levi, and Elianna.

Allison, graduated from Strasburg High School in 2007 and received an Associates Degree in Business Management in 2012 from Blue Ridge Community College and currently works at Shenandoah Animal Hospital in Woodstock, VA. She began showing livesock in 1998 and can be seen competing today in some of the open cattle shows.
